Go and Flirt Spa owner Wendy Rodrich has been in the beauty industry since 2007, serving a diverse clientele with facials, body contouring treatments, microblading, and waxing. Wendy has worked at the Setai Hotel in Miami for 5 years doing body treatments, nails, and facials. She is certified and licensed in Micro-needling, PRP (Plaletet-rich plasma), Phlebotomy technician, IV therapy, Chemical Peels, Radio-Frequency, Cavitation, Micro-blading, Permanent Makeup, Eyebrows and Face Waxing, Cryolipolisis and Body Contouring Treatments. Having a deep passion for health, wellness, and beauty, Wendy also believes that includes a soulful spirit. Before opening the beautiful spa in Lighthouse Point, Wendy operated as a mobile spa. GO & FLIRT SPA IS LIGHTHOUSE POINT’S HIDDEN GEM

Born and raised in Peru, Wendy Rodrich, the owner of Go & Flirt Spa, never dreamed at age 19 she would someday be the owner of a spa in South Florida. She was a rising marketing executive at a French pharmaceutical company, studying at a prestigious college in Peru when she met a young medical student. Determined to complete his residency in the United States, he convinced her to marry him and move to Miami. As a new U.S. citizen in South Florida, Wendy earned her cosmetology licenses as a nail technician and aesthetician and began working at the exclusive Miami Beach resort, The Setai. Over the next five years, she honed her English, became single and perfected her nail and facial skills by taking care of celebrities from around the globe. Her regular customers included Uma Therman, Princesses of Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Tom Cruise, Robin Williams and Usher.
“I learned a lot from these famous people, many of whom spoke many languages and were so smart,” she recalled, but admitted that the pressure and long hours eventually led to burnout. She moved farther north at the recommendation of a friend and began studying nursing at Palm Beach College while working at a spa in Boca Raton. That spa experience sparked a vision to eventually use her training in nursing to open a medical spa. After more research revealed that such a plan would take up to a dozen years, Wendy decided instead to open her own nail and facial salon. The Go & Flirt team includes customer-focused nail technicians personally trained by Wendy.
When she discovered the Lighthouse Point community, she knew she had found a home for her new business. Her medical training and experience working in skin care also convinced her that costly and invasive Botox and filler treatments were not the only options available. In 2017, she opened Go & Flirt Spa in the Village Shopping Plaza, located at the corner of Federal Highway and NE 39th Street, with the dream to provide customers with a clean, comfortable and warm environment with a variety of nail and skin care treatments. She blends her medical knowledge, training in healing touch and deep study of skin care to offer clients a unique relaxing, stress-reducing experience with age-defying results.
Most recently, she created her own skin care line after not being able to find high quality, affordable U.S.-manufactured skin care products made with organic ingredients. She uses these products — ranging from Vitamin C toners and serums to masks, moisturizers and cleansers — in all skin care services. Available for sale in her spa, the products will soon be available on Amazon, Shopify, as well as stores on Square, Instagram and Facebook, among other retailers.
